Bridal Makeup Advice

Your wedding day is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and it's your time to shine. From skincare routines to makeup trials, my bridal makeup advice will help you get ready to say "I do" with confidence, elegance, and a timeless bridal look.

  1. Prioritize the Makeup Trial: As a makeup artist, I strongly advise all brides to schedule a makeup trial 1-3 months in advance. This session is invaluable in fine-tuning the perfect look that matches your style and personality. Remember to choose inspiration photos of people with similar features to yours.

  2. Skin Love: In the lead-up to your wedding, ensure you have a consistent skincare routine in place. This includes cleansing, exfoliating, moisturizing. This will provide the ideal canvas for makeup application. Remember consistency is key!

  3. Hydration: We've all heard. Staying hydrated in the weeks leading up to your big day will help keep the skin radiant and well hydrated from the inside out.

  4. Arrive with a Clean Face: On the wedding day, it's essential for brides to arrive with a clean moisturized face. This is the perfect base for everything we will be doing.

  5. Communication: We want you to look and feel you best! Share your preferences and concerns openly with your makeup artist. There's a reason you hired a professional right? Always keep in mind that skin texture is normal and most things on social media are photoshopped. Creating a bridal look that aligns with your vision and enhances your natural beauty is a team effort.

  6. Have Fun: Wedding mornings come and go so quickly. Try not to stress the small stuff and enjoy every minute.
